When it comes to pedestrian-based tours of local art galleries, the east side of State Line Road has long held a firm monopoly. And though the Crossroads District has plenty of virtues, one can't help but wonder what spectacles lie within the borders of Wyandotte County.Help break Missouri's iron grip on the local arts scene by dropping by the Follow the Dotte Art Walk. The tour of 10 Kansas City, Kansas, galleries and restaurants runs from 5 to 8 tonight. Start at the Main Branch of the Kansas City, Kansas, Public Library (625 Minnesota) for displays of photographs and fused-glass bowls, then walk or take the shuttle to the other stops. During the event, cyclists taking part in 45th-annual Tour of Kansas City fundraising event will pass by, allowing you to combine your cravings for local art and athletic munificence.
